About Phillip

     Hello, and thank you for taking a few moments to view my website. Hiring a professional photographer is as important today as ever, since the new simplified technology of digital cameras, combined with computers, have brought about a new wave of photographers. – especially in the wedding market. My sincere wish is to provide my clients with photography of the highest quality, with the skill and creativity of good old-fashion knowledge of the craft. I am a full-service photography studio. Whether it’s a wedding, family portrait, special event, or a company’s annual report – I make every effort to ensure timeless images are created, preserving those special moments. And since I am a full-time photography business, my livelihood depends on providing the best service possible to all my clients.

     My life of taking pictures started at the age of 12 when I received the gift of my first camera. Instantly developing a passion for creating images, it was inevitable that professional photography would be a lifelong career choice. Taking it very seriously, for formal training, I chose to attend one of the finest schools in professional photography. After many peanut-butter sandwiches, I was awarded the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Photography. It was well worth the 8 years of paying off student loans, since I feel that this quality education has laid down an excellent foundation for me in professional photography. Upon graduation, I worked as a staff photographer/videographer/editor for the U.S. Air Force. Eventually I opened up my own full-time photography business satisfying hundreds of clients with a variety of photographic assignments. Over the 35 years of being involved in the craft, I have developed my skills in creating exceptional imagery, becoming a master of the craft. Today, I can sincerely say that the spark and passion is as strong as ever, leading me to continually produce beautiful pictures.

     With the advent of digital technology and cameras becoming so automated, many more photographers are coming into the profession with very little knowledge of the photographic craft, and the key ingredient to photography – lighting. More and more are getting into the photographic industry because they simply “like to take pictures.” The camera is actually creating the image for them. And it’s more or less a crap shoot if a beautiful image will be created. Lighting is also becoming a lost art, with photographers using simple and usually unflattering lighting methods. Photography, in my opinion, is much more than that. Knowledge, skills and creativity of the craft, using the camera as an instrument with proper lighting techniques to enhance the image at its best, is what separates a professional photographer from someone who simply “likes to take pictures.” I strive to follow this philosophy with every image I capture in whatever situation I am in. And it’s my sincere wish that you will notice this as you view my galleries.

 For further inquiries please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to help you with any of your photography questions. Thank you again for visiting my website.

Sincerely;
